Unlike conventional UV curing lamps, which are started by creating an arc across two metal electrodes, Nordson Cool Wave lamps are excited by microwaves to energize them. They are available in mercury, iron, and gallium versions. We supply Caprock brand replacement lamps for all Nordson Cool Wave Systems curing units.
